Who we are

Founded in 1905, Rotary is the world’s first service club. Today, there are over 33,000 clubs with 1.3 million members worldwide, committed to making positive changes in their communities and beyond.

Our Mission

Rotary connects people of action to address the world’s most persistent issues, from hunger and health to education and the environment.

The Four-Way Test

At the heart of Rotary’s guiding principles is the Four-Way Test:

1. Is it the truth?

2. Is it fair to all concerned?

3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?

4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Our Service Projects

Why Join Rotary?

Joining Rotary means joining a network of leaders committed to serving their community and the world. Whether you’re a business owner, professional, retiree, or community leader, you’ll find lifelong friendships and the satisfaction of giving back.

Membership Requirements

Membership is by invitation. Rotary members are expected to attend at least 50% of meetings, which can be at any Rotary club globally. Your Rotary sponsor will guide you through the process, ensuring your integration into our community of service.

Join us every Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. at the Moorestown Community House for breakfast, fellowship, and engaging discussions on local and global issues. Upcoming major events include our annual Rotary Run, Scholarship Raffle Dinner, and Paddle Board Kayak Race, which raise funds for scholarships and local charities.

Local Impact:

• The Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club has long supported our community. From granting over $200,000 in scholarships to maintaining Jeff Young Park, we are proud to give back.

• We sponsor four Moorestown High School students annually for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards at Monmouth University.

International Projects:

• Our club actively contributes to global initiatives, including providing disaster relief for communities in Haiti and Japan, and supporting the international campaign to eradicate Polio.

Interested in joining? Contact John Costello, our Membership Chair, at 215-630-8761 or by email at moorestownbreakfastrotary@gmail.com to learn more about how you can get involved.

Volunteer Opportunities:

The Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club offers numerous ways to get involved, from packing school supplies for local students to contributing to international disaster relief. Whether you have a few hours a week or can commit to a longer-term project, there’s a role for you in making a difference.
